Welcome to the KCFC Football Academy powered by All-In Sports! Elevate your game with our position-specific training program, focusing on the mental and physical development of football athletes. The KCFC Football Academy will meet for two days a week and our staff of experienced coaches will work position specific content, as well as speed and agility work. Cost for the KCFC Football Academy is $150 per month. Sessions will be held at Heritage Park Football Complex or All-In Sports (12140 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66221), depending on the weather. These sessions are boys and girls in 4th-8th grade. 

Each position is tailored with targeted techniques to enhance skills and elevate performance:

  • QB Training: Improve throwing mechanics, footwork, hand-offs, running motion, and arm strength.

  • RB Training: Enhance footwork, vision, catching, blocking skills, and ball protection. Learn tackling, running strategies, and balance.

  • DB/LB Training: Elevate coverage skills, including man and zone coverage, footwork, route recognition, and defensive strategies.

  • OL/DL Training: Perfect fundamentals for offensive and defensive linemen, emphasizing blocking stance, dominating blocks, and hand and foot techniques.

  • WR Training: Sharpen route running, pass-catching skills, and coverage recognition for wide receivers

Performance Training

Transform into a stronger, faster athlete with our performance training program. Our coaches prioritize technicality and safety, focusing on:

  • Lateral movement techniques
  • Explosive power (Olympic lifting)
  • Plyometrics and medicine ball exercises
  • Conditioning and flexibility
  • Dynamic stretching and muscular stimulation

Speed Training

Gain a competitive edge with our speed training program, designed to increase overall speed, running strength, explosiveness, agility, and sport-specific abilities. Our curriculum includes:

  • Refining sprinting mechanics
  • Learning combine techniques
  • Improving conditioning power and explosion
  • Injury prevention techniques and enhanced flexibility
  • Acceleration mechanics refinement

Meet Our Staff!

Johnny Beck, Director
Johnny is the owner and Director of Operations at All In Sports LLC. (est. 2013).He attended the University of Kansas on a football scholarship andstarted45 careergames, finishing his playing career in 2004. Johnny earned 4 straight Academic All-Big XII honors and was a two-time All-Big XII kicker, earning a selection to the Freshman All-American Team in 2001. During the 2005 season, heserved as an intern under the Director of Football Operations and as aSpecial Teams coaching assistant.Johnny graduated from KU, in 2006,with a B.S., in Sports Management and has been training athletes for the past 14 years.
   

Miknedric Harper 
Miknedric Harper, founder of Harper Island Training, LLC, boasts an impressive football background. Beginning with high school accolades, he was a 1st Team All-State Wide Receiver and Honorable Mention Defensive Back at Hart County High School in Georgia. Progressing to Butler County Community College, he earned recognition as 2nd Team All-Jayhawk Conference and Defensive Player of the Game in the Dalton's Defender Bowl.

Earning a full scholarship to The University of Kansas, Miknedric played in prestigious bowl games such as the 2008 Orange Bowl and Insight Bowl. His professional football career includes numerous 1st Team awards and four championships, leading to his induction into the Professional Football Hall of Fame in June 2023.

Driven by a passion for training athletes, Miknedric established Harper Island Training. His dedication has led to the success of many athletes, including Breece Hall, a college All-American selected in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. Miknedric's motto, "You can have results or excuses, but not both," reflects his commitment to helping athletes achieve their dreams and goals.

  Chris Gomes

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, Chris graduated from St. James Academy in 2013. In college, Chris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from the University of Central Missouri, where he was a 4-year starter on the football team at Left Guard. Throughout his college football career, Chris received numerous honors, including 3x All-MIAA, 2x All-Region, and All-American. In 2017, Chris was a Gene Upshaw Award Finalist.

Post-college, Chris coached and trained offensive linemen, some now playing professionally with the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Vipers of the XFL. He has also helped young OLs secure spots in major universities like Mizzou, USC, Stanford, Oklahoma, KU, Northwestern, Maryland, Arkansas, Air Force, and more.

Notable recent achievements include working with:

  • Cayden Green: LT at Mizzou, 2023 UA All-American
  • Armand Membou: Starting RT at Mizzou, 2023 Freaks List
  • Jackson Cantwell: #3 player in the nation (class of 2026), #2 OT in the nation
  • Talan Chandler: #3 Center in the nation, committed to Mizzou
  • Logan Reichert: 3-star currently at Mizzou
  • Cooper Lovelace: USC
  • Andrew Babalola: 4-star at BVNW

  Anthony Abenoja 
A product of Overland Park, Kansas, Anthony Abenoja is a seasoned football professional with a robust background in the sport. Holding a B.S. in Education from Pittsburg State University, he began his playing career at Blue Valley High School before excelling as a quarterback at Pittsburg State University. His professional journey extended to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Nebraska Danger.

Throughout his playing career, Abenoja had the privilege of working with esteemed coaches such as Steve Rampy, Tim Beck, Eric Driskell, and Jesse Owen, alongside notable teammates like Nate Dreiling and John Brown. His remarkable playing career was adorned with honors, including EKL Offensive Player of the Year in high school and prestigious recognitions like finishing fourth in the Harlon Hill Trophy race in college.

Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Abenoja has contributed as a Quarterbacks Coach at Pittsburg State, Blue Valley High School, Staley High School, and presently at Gardner Edgerton High School. His journey encapsulates a commitment to excellence in football education and player development.

Our progressive program emphasizes specific positions on the football field. We take pride in nurturing both the mental and physical development of our athletes by ingraining the fundamentals of football and challenging them with new techniques every week.
