Eli Aviles(far left), a 5th Grade Tackle Football Player from Smithville, is one of the recipients for this week's Jimmy Johns Freaky Fast Sportsmanship Player of the Week. Along with not only being encouraging towards his teammates on and off of the field, Eli has found a way to promote unity within his team. Eli prior to the beginning of the season made "Warrior Friendship" bracelets for each teammate and both coaches on the Smithville 5th Grade team. He encourages everyone to wear these bracelets on Friday's prior to their games Saturday. Eli plays center and is also the Kicker/Punter for his team. He is the youngest of 4 boys, and loves the Kansas City Chiefs! Eli's personality on and off the field is what has led him to become a Jimmy John's Freaky Fast Sportsmanship athlete of the week!
Hannah Taylor(middle), a 7th grade cheerleader from Shawnee Mission West, is one of the recipients for this week's Jimmy Johns Freaky Fast Sportsmanship Player of the Week. Hannah is a first year cheerleader on the squad, but hasn't wasted any time fully committing. Hannah constantly brings a positive and supportive attitude to both practice and games. Her eagerness to learn, and tackle any challenge in front of her is one of the many reasons she was nominated for this award. Hannah's hobbies include spending time with family and friends, making slime, and Cheer! Hannah's love for both stunts and cheer, along with her constant positive attitude are what have allowed her to be named a Jimmy John's Freaky Fast Sportsmanship Athlete of the Week.
River Freeman(far right), a 2nd grade flag football player for the outlaws, is our third and final recipient for this week's Jimmy Johns Freaky Fast Sportsmanship Player of the Week. River had a birthday party where he invited individuals from the teams that he plays on. River did not accept any gifts, but instead had his friends bring sports balls(football, baseball, basketball) so he could donate to kids that don't have them. He received roughly 20 different balls and plans to send them to Hurricane Victims in the South. Along with his charitable personality, River is a proud Wide Receiver for the Outlaws Flag Football team. He spends most of his time playing sports, Pokemon Cards, and rough housing with his little brother. River's attitude both on and off of the field are what have allowed him to be named a Jimmy John's Freaky Fast Sportsmanship Player of the week!
