Coach’s Corner

All coaches -- head, assistant and youth assistant  -- in the tackle program must complete the club's certification requirements. The head coach is responsible to ensure that only certified coaches participate in practices or games. To be certified, a coach must do the following, in addition to completing the volunteer application so that a background check can be conducted:

1. Tackle head coaches must attend Tackle Coaches Orientation on Tuesday evening, July 21 (time and location TBA).  

2. All tackle coaches (head and assistant) must complete the USA Football On-Line Youth Tackle Coach Certification/ Recertification (no charge as KCFC is paying the membership cost for its coaches). Coaches receive the USA Football code by completing their volunteer application beginning May 1. • Click on “Training” on the left of the page
• Click on “Take Me There”
• Add course
• Type in Coupon Code when purchasing course (coupon code is received when completing the KCFC volunteer application) - will be available after 5/1/26
• Start Certification

Coaches must complete the above requirements in order to receive a coach pass.  Coach passes are required to be on the sideline.
