2026 Presidents Day Football Camp Information
Kansas City Football and Cheer provides an annual 1-day camp on Presidents Day. Our camps are ran by former Kansas Jayhawk and Director of Sports Performance at BluHawk, Johnny Beck. Coach Beck and the rest of the staff use their extensive knowledge of football and athletic training to teach your child new skills for their game. This camp is intended for both flag and tackle players. Examples of skills that are taught at our camp are listed below:

Meet Our Camp Director!
Johnny Beck, Camp Director
Johnny is Director of Sports Performance at AdventHealth Sports Park at BluHawk. He attended the University of Kansas on a football scholarship and started 45 career games, finishing his playing career in 2004. Johnny earned 4 straight Academic All-Big XII honors and was a two-time All-Big XII kicker, earning a selection to the Freshman All-American Team in 2001. During the 2005 season, he served as an intern under the Director of Football Operations and as a Special Teams coaching assistant. Johnny graduated from KU, in 2006, with a B.S., in Sports Management and has been training athletes for the past 19 years.

Staff
Sessions will be led by the AdventHealth Sports Park at BluHawk coaching staff. Sessions will focus on teaching proper mechanics for SPEED / AGILITY DEVELOPMENT, JUMP TRAINING, FOUNDATION STRENGTH, and CONDITIONING. Football specific drills include agility bag drills, sled pushes, hand / eye coordination, and defensive skill sets (backpedal, break on the football, pursuit).
